AIs you already connected don’t need to reconnect. Start a new chat to see the new features; if they still don’t show, refresh or reconnect MagicLumen in your AI’s connector settings.

How to connect

Connection URL:

claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the connection URL and click Connect. A MagicLumen page opens; click Allow. No key needed.
ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → turn on developer mode, add a connector, paste the connection URL and choose OAuth. When the MagicLumen page opens, click Allow.
Claude desktop, Claude Code, Cursor: Create a key on the Connect AI page in MagicLumen and paste it into the settings as shown there.

CharacterNew

Characters saved in your library work in every project and keep the same look.

Create a character from a description; AI draws four sheets: headshot, full body, expressions and turnaround
Create a character from a photo (your AI first asks whether you have the right to use this person’s likeness)
Character sheets you already have can be saved as a character directly, with no regeneration and no points
Make different expressions and save them to the character
Change the name and appearance, link a default voice
Redraw or add one of the character sheets, delete characters

Try saying

Create a character “Jay” in my MagicLumen library: a 25-year-old Taiwanese man, short black hair, thin-framed glasses, navy shirt, young male voice. After the character sheets are done, make a laughing expression and save it too.

Scenes and propsNew

Save the places and objects you use often, and every shot keeps a consistent scene.

Describe it in one sentence and AI generates a scene or prop image and saves it to your library

Face fix, logo removalNew

The same as the Tools page, with free uses every day.

Logo removal: box the areas to remove from a video (up to 60 seconds) and get a new video back

Voiceover can use the built-in voices or a voice you cloned yourself.

Clone a voice from a 15–30 second recording
Cloned voices can be renamed and deleted

Turn on voice cloning and accept the terms in MagicLumen first; your AI can’t do that for you.

Points and safety

Points: Same price as doing it in MagicLumen, charged only when generation succeeds. Your AI tells you roughly how many points anything will cost first.
Daily limit: Every connected AI has a daily points limit and stops when it’s reached. Change the limit or revoke access anytime on the Connect AI page.
Confirm: Before using a real person’s photo or voice, editing someone else’s video, or deleting anything, your AI asks you first and only goes ahead if you agree.
Your files: Images, videos and recordings on your computer: AIs that can run commands (like Claude Code) can upload them for you. For AIs on the web, upload to your canvas or library in MagicLumen first.
See the results: Everything your AI makes lives in your projects and library, so you can take over and edit it anytime. Standalone generations are in History.
Not available yet: HD upscaling, music, top-ups and account settings are done in MagicLumen.
